Stage 1.
Basic parts from the Singer sewing machine. I have stripped out the switch panel and used the foot pedal (variac) to control a d mifferent motor. |
Stage 2.
One of my dads home made sanding machines. Stipping down and using for the parts. Motor and fixings. |
Stage 3.
BIG motor taken from sanding machine. 1/25th of a horse power! Screw driver gives rough size of motor. |
Stage 4.
Rigged up the the foot pedal and it works prefect! Powerful (hard to stop with friction). Speed from nothing to a 'safe' workable speed. Singer foot pedal to the right. Switch box to the right. Starting Capacitor above the pen. |
Stage 5.
Finished machine, work very well. |
New Humbucker.
Second pickup a humbucker with 12 Alnico magnets! |
