1962 Vox
AC30
This was bought in 1983 for £30, yes £30, from a Post
Office door card advert. I only wanted it for the speakers at the time.
I did some of my early gigs with this beast and at one point when it died
I nearly through it out.
Since found out it has the same value as a small country, I soon got it
reconditioned back to life.
Nobody I know likes the dirty dark blue colour, but have found out it
could have been a custom factory colour for a trade show. |

Carlsbro
Top 50
This is a 1972 model, (funny enough it is 50 watts), all valve head, similar
to a Marshall in design, it is Point to Point wired and so easy to maintain
and repair. It has a clean, warm sound. It overdrives very nice with a bit
of gain from a pedal in front of it (at a fraction of the price of a 70s
Marshall). I do have a matching 1975 model as a backup. The most important
thing is they both have a yellow logo which goes well with my boxer shorts.
This is my first one, i had three alltogether, no2 was sick, 1 and 3 were nicked!

Marshall 1980 JMP50 watt Valve amp
50 Watt valve, used it a few times but blow every time i used it, got it fixed then it got nicked!

Marshall Speaker Cab 2 x 12
200 watt stereo, used mono, nice sound, no break-up and light to carry,
it can sound bright so I turn the cab around. Pointing to the wall it absorbs
the treble frequency to give a nice tight bottom end to the sound. (speakers
away), this also allows the amp to be to be turn up a little bit more (Like
Eleven!) Had two of these but both were nicked!
Yes i know it is the same picture as above, bit it looks the same as the amp anyway.
