1978 Gibson Les Paul Custom

This was bought in 1984 for £350, which was the going rate at the time, It was used in a Heavy Metal band and is only brought out of the case to have a polish.
It is has not had any modifications apart from the brass pickup surrounds.

1979 Fender Stratocaster 25th Anniversary

This was bought over the phone without seeing it, how mad is that! I have always wanted one (along with lots of others) and saw an advert in a guitar magazine, looked it up on the web site and bought it the same day on the phone. It arrived near as soon as I put the phone down, it was described as Mint, when I opened the case and saw it, I thought the description should have said, Ultra Mint. It has the original case, Certificate, manual and I located and an original magazine advert, needless to say it is totally original apart from the strings!
Paranoid about getting it out of the case in I get the slightest scratch on it.
