1986 Squire
Stratocaster
This was
a birthday surprise from Jenni, it belonged to a guitar player in the
band I used to be in, he bought it new, sent it to Gordy guitars in Altringham
(Half of Gordon Smith Guitars), he put a 12" camber on the fingerboard,
refretted it with jumbo frets and had a 0.01mm action.
It is a real one off, being a Squire and all, the neck just seems a little
on the thin side now and I have just found out the body has two breaks
where the ether side of the bridge. Would not sell it though.

1990 Custom
Super Strat
This was made by me!, Alder body, Maple neck, Ebony fingerboard, various
pickups along the way, heavy and loud, flat radius with Gibson angled
neck and bridge.
The claim to fame with this guitar was that I used it a gig at the Witchwood
in Ashton, same venue Wishbone Ash played in 1992.

Custom Helbard Bass
This was also made by me!, it was my first attempt at a guitar which
I thought would work. It was made for the Bass player in the Heavy Metal
band and did our first two gigs, a ten track studio demo and 6 months of
practice.
It was nailed to the cellar wall for about 13 years and is in the process
of being reconditioned. |
